80's party baby!

This weekend was like no other!!! Not only did I not sit at home while Jack was working into the wee hours of the morning while Jackson was fast asleep, but we got to party it up 80's style. It was a ward party extravaganza with old school nintendo, ping pong, pizza, pictures as you can see, and tons of rockin dance moves. What a great break from the monotony. And don't worry if you are wondering where I got the sexy jeans with no pockets and the white wash fabric, look no farther than your closest DI thrift store. Peace out!

Major Let Down!

We went to the U of U game against TCU and sadly we got worked. Wowzers. Before we could even get through the lines and into the game TCU had scored a touchdown. Then the rest of the game seemed to go down pretty much the same way. By third quarter we were at 37 to 0, yes ZERO. So we left as sad as a couple of Ute fans could be but we got some fun pics so thats always worth every dime.

The beanie......

When we first purchased Jackson's first U of U hat and put it on his little head, it was quite a feet to see it on him for more than 3o seconds. BUT...... in the past few days this little man has been obsessed with this beanie that was given to him by his great auntie Lisa, and will keep it on all day. He went down for a nap in it and woke up with it still perfectly content on his noggin and he was so chill with it on that I am sure its a magic beanie. Usually he is a ravenous beast when he wakes from his long naps but on this day, and a day it was..... he came out of his room silent with a grin on his face, Jack sat him down on the couch by me, and he sat with a smile watching " How I met your mother" with his one and only----me. Therefore I knew this day may never come again and so I documented it... HERE IT IS FOLKS!

Oh Yes, TCU and Utah!

I totally forgot to add that Jack is a die hard Utah fan. I find him checking out the college football website at least ten times a day. I don't think a football team's ranking changes min from min but he sure does look at it every other minute. So on Saturday morning he woke up at 5:00 in the morning and waited at the ticket booth for the student seating and a ticket for me (as I lay soundly asleep until 9:30.) Keep in mind they didn't start selling these tickets until ten in the morning but hes not even the craziest of the fans. There were at least 20 tents set up, some of them proclaiming they were set up since Thursday!!! Holy cow I don't think I am obsessed with anything this much except for maybe food. Anywho I decided to take Jackson and meet up with Jack in the line to keep him and Mikey company. Here's a picture to recap the moment.

P.S. We did finally get our tickets at about 11 in the morn and after we went up the canyon to gather acorns and autumn leaves. Of course us Moyles are a little too lazy and just stopped at the first cafe we saw " Sun and Moon" cafe and ate like kings!! It was a great Saturday!

Salt Lake Livin!

So since we have been here we have had a lot of fun exploring this town a little and seeing what it has to offer. My next door neighbor, Kenna, seems to always have the 411 on all the events going on so I seem to always get in on all the action. Here are a few pics:

I got a NEW job!!!

So Nothing is really new. I Got a new job and I am so excited for it. I will be working Monday and Wednesday at Dr. Farris's office and then Tuesdays at Dr. Lukes. My first day is this Monday, the 11th. Wowzers here we go.

Jackson is now REALLY walking. Or you could say he is walking more than he is crawling. He is so hesitant with his walking and it is more like a waddle but hes a pretty cute stud waddling around. He has been sick lately I think considering the two blowouts we have had the last two days and the mysterious puke in his crib. He is just acting really tired so I hope it blows over.

Yesterday was a fun day. We just went to KFC and then went to the library and hung out while jackson walked around on the lawn. The weather is awesome lately. Its a little breezy but its perfect and I can just feel Fall all around. I LOVE this time of year, and this is the first time i have ever said that. Usually fall brings about crappy school work and stress but this is the first year in my LIFE, that I am pretty care free and able to enjoy my life and I am so thankfu. I just had to post these pics. He is in his cute moose shirt that Grandma Moyle gave him and his University of Utah hat that we bought with the money great grandma and grandpa Moyle gave him for his birthday. Pretty stellar!!!
